Peter Sierck, CIEC, REA, EMRS, RFSO

Industrial Hygienist/Baubiologist - Environmental Testing & Technology, Inc. (USA)

Peter Sierck has conducted professional electromagnetic field (EMF) surveys and field reduction methods for the last 30+-years. His experience and expertise include testing and mitigation of low frequency AC electric and magnetic fields, radio frequency (RF) emissions and dirty power issues. His work entails conducting building surveys, developing, and implementing shielding methods, and designing low EMF/RF sanctuaries in buildings. Peter’s goal is creating low EMF indoor environments to create healthier and safer places for its occupants.

He is conducting surveys in residential homes, commercial and institutional buildings and for school districts. Peter loves to use professional, state of the art, calibrated instrumentation. His instrument park ranges from spectrum analyzer to a plethora of specific field meters.

Peter Sierck is a Building Biologist, Senior Industrial Hygienist and Principal of Environmental Testing & Technology, Inc. (ET&T) located in San Diego, California. He chairs the EMF&RF Solutions division at ET&T. Peter grew up in Germany where he received his formal education and Building Biology training.

Two Talks

Lecture Abstract

How to Create a Low EMF Building

The lecture provides guidance for medical professionals who are looking for ways to reduce EMF/RF exposure to their patients. The presentation will identify common types and sources of electromagnetic fields (EMF) and radio frequency (RF) radiation in indoor environments. Included is how to detect, test and evaluate testing results. Presenting elimination, mitigation and shielding methods with case histories is the purpose of this presentation.

  • AC Magnetic Fields
  • AC Electric Fields
  • Radio Frequency (RF) Radiation
  • 5G
  • Dirty Power Issues

Exposure to EMF and radiofrequency (RF) emissions is ever increasing. Their elimination can be an important treatment modality.

Workshop Abstract

EMF Meter Workshop

This workshop will show you the most common type of EMF and RF meter used today. How they work, how to use them and what the results mean. We will take you on a tour measuring AC magnetic and electric fields from wired electrical installations and wireless radio frequency sources. The tour will guide you through a residential and an office building and demonstrate the measurement protocols, measurement errors, which can be made and demonstrate why you are measuring what you re measuring. The purpose of the workshop is to provide you with the tools, protocols, and evaluation criteria to perform your own EMF/RF measurements and know what the results mean.
